theblueballroom proudly unveils the first issue of HEROES: the new magazine for national charity, Help for Heroes.

In just two years Help for Heroes has become a conduit for the British public to show their affection and support for the Armed Forces. The charity has raised over £32 million so far, and has helped to improve the lives of hundreds of those wounded in the service of their country.

HEROES tells the stories behind the people and organisations that Help for Heroes supports – such as Headley Court, Combat Stress and Battle Back – in providing direct, practical help to wounded Servicemen and women.

For theblueballroom’s creative team, HEROES is the perfect project: “Doing what we love to do – producing magazines – for one of Britain’s newest and most energetic charities, and all for an extremely worthwhile cause….what a great combination,” says Jacqui Kibby, Senior Creative Editor.

Working for the charity and editor of HEROES is Elaine Moore: a reporter and award-winning journalist for the Financial Times.

Designed by theblueballroom, HEROES magazine will be published quarterly. For a suggested donation of £1 you can subscribe to future editions: just email pr@helpforheroes.org.uk for further details.
