It’s the last in the current series of Location, Location, Location on TV tonight. How I love that programme. I love snooping around houses for sale (I’m obviously a closet estate agent!) and I’m amused at the banter that flies back and forth between presenters Phil Spencer and Kirstie Allsopp. I nearly always fall in love with one of the properties for sale but it’s usually way out of my price range. A Georgian wisteria-clad white double-fronted house high on a hill overlooking the sea would suit me just fine. Mind you, there are some potential buyers I could cheerfully kick up the backside. Like the couple who, when confronted with a beautiful sweep-in gravel drive, said they’d concrete it over. Perhaps a life as an estate agent isn’t for me as I wouldn’t be able to keep my mouth shut!
