Having just returned from a week long holiday on the southern Red Sea coast of Egypt, one might be forgiven for thinking that I would be sitting at my desk today with a serious case of the holiday blues. This is not so, however. It might perhaps have something to do with the fact that I'm only back for a day before the long weekend kicks in here in the UK (ahem), but I think it's more a reflection on my lovely colleagues here at theblueballroom. Not many people can say they look forward to returning to work after a week on the beach, but touching down at chilly Gatwick last night, I can honestly say I couldn't wait to get back to the office and swap stories with the team and hear all about what I'd missed. But time away from daily routine also made me realise that holidays (and I mean time off at home, not just away) really are so important. A chance to unwind, switch off your mind (and your phone) and spend treasured time with loved ones - or just with your own thoughts and a good book.

Let me take this chance to wish all our friends, clients and contacts a very happy Easter long weekend - fingers crossed for some pub-garden-conducive weather!
