At the beginning of the year, when I was just doing my normal account management thang, my lovely manager asked me whether I wanted to be put forward for a secondment in Germany with one of our clients. Germany. Not a country I had considered spending an awful lot of time in if I am honest as I have a huge soft spot for France. I had visited Germany as a child briefly and been to Berlin in sixth form, which as most know, is a pretty cool city but the rest of the country? Well I didn't really have a clue. With very little research into where I was headed, and with a couple of suitcases, off I went.
If I was my dear colleague Sophie, this would be a post related to food however I went to Germany...sorry Germany it's not your food that I love.
If I was a writer, I'd be telling you all about the fantastic places I went to with some eloquent wordy details.
I am however an account manager, so I managed my time, met and worked with some awesome people, went to some truly lovely places and took some photos. Feast your eyes on my snapshot North Rhine-Westphalia, ok so I wrote some captions (creative but to a point!):
Thank you to all at theblueballroom for the fantastic opportunity both professionally and personally - of course, I had great FUN!
