Yesterday was theblueballroom's long awaited charity bake sale for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care - and what a success it was. When a cure is not possible, Hospice Care helps many people manage pain and improves the quality of life for both the patient and their families. We've all been touched by incurable diseases and so coming together yesterday to show our support was important for each and every one of us. We are all so grateful for the amazing work they do.

So, having beavered away with our baking and produced a table FULL of treats that no person in their right mind would be able to turn down, we were ready to receive people at 11am, and thankfully they came! For the full 2.5 hours people steadily strolled up to our office to spend their pounds on chocolate chip cookies, double chocolate muffins, carrot cake, apple fruit slice and even some very professional looking cake pops.

We'd like to thank the business park and surrounding areas for coming and willingly partaking in our sugar fest, and also The Wheatsheaf pub in Farnham and Butter and Cream cakes in Milford for donating generous gifts to our raffle.  Watch this space for our next charity challenge!
