Pizza Hut have today released their new advertising campaign video in order to promote their ‘Classic Crust’ pizza.

What struck me about this advert was that they have clearly decided to adopt a humorous angle. At the end of the day, when viewing an advert, potential customers would much rather be entertained and not preached to.

The incredible thing about this, is that it works! The greatest adverts of recent years have been so memorable because the majority of them have been funny! People like humour far more than having a new product force fed to them.

So maybe when you are planning your next marketing campaign, why not inject a bit of humour into it? You never know, yours could end up a classic too.
