If you want to attract customers, you need a story that appeals. Crowdfunding is about making your story appeal to a wide audience.  If you're wondering what crowdfunding is, in a nutshell, it's enabling your project to generate finance by attracting small investments from a large number of people.  It seems to now also be used for more than business investments and getting creative projects up and running. Scientists have started using it to save endangered animals (click here to read the full article).

There are currently 5,055 black rhino’s living in the wild and scientists are now turning to Crowdfunding in an effort to prevent these incredible animals from becoming extinct.

The money invested will be used to strengthen the understanding of the species and how it evolved. The researchers involved in the project are hoping that a genetic library could be used to engineer DNA to bring back extinct species.

The concept of crowdfunding for extinct animals is surprisingly similar to the process of attracting investment for your own business. Ultimately, people have to want to buy into the product or service which you are offering. A strong story has to be brought to life in order to keep people interested and knowing that what they are purchasing is worthy of investment.

Here at theblueballroom, we specialise in creating and delivering unique, powerful stories to really get people thinking.
