We’re all very excited that next week sees our first-ever public billboard go live. It will appear opposite the London-bound platform at the railway station in our home town of Farnham. The billboard is in a great spot and we saw it as an engaging way to showcase our internal comms services to travellers.

• Did you know that Farnham and its railway station have a strong Sherlock Holmes connection? In Andrew Lane’s Young Sherlock Holmes series, Sherlock lives with an aunt and uncle near the town and travels from the station to visit his brother Mycroft in London. And Conan Doyle, the creator of Sherlock Holmes, describes Farnham in The Adventure of the Solitary Cyclist as “a beautiful neighbourhood and full of the most interesting associations”. We agree, we love Farnham and all its associations – real and fictional.
