It's a question we all ask, whether we work in internal communications, HR or Public Relations, it's a goal on all of our agendas. Feeling proud of where we work, attracting and retaining the right candidates and building a desirable work environment is easier said than done. However the theme of our next thefuturestory event will address this key question by introducing our new model of employee engagement, PRIDE.
PRIDE stands for Purpose, Reputation, Integrity, Direction and Energy. The PRIDE model is an approach to managing and motivating people at work that will make themselves and the companies they work for, successful. It is an approach that will create the environment where people understand and share goals, want and are able to contribute and where they know they are valued.
An in-depth explanation into the five factors of PRIDE will commence at thefuturestory after an initial keynote presentation from Sheila Parry, Chair of theblueballroom and creator of the PRIDE model and Stephen Cheliotis, CEO of The Centre for Brand Analysis, who has co-written the diagnostic tool. There will also be facilitated table discussions with communication professionals with experience in-house with the National Grid, Deutsche Post DHL, LSG Skychefs, Siemens and BAA to name a few.
