The CIPR #InsideStory 2014 awards are now open for entries and we’re proud to be playing a part by supporting the ‘Best In-House Team’ category. After a successful start in 2013, this will be the second Inside Story awards which celebrates the innovative work of internal communicators and employee engagement specialists. With 11 categories including the ‘Best Employee Engagement Programme’, the ‘Best Use Of Video’ and ‘Best Use Of Research And Measurement’, the awards target what really matters in the world of internal communication, to the business and the individual. Internal communications is becoming an increasing priority for businesses as the realisation hits home that an engaged workforce is more productive and therefore, more valuable to the bottom line. In addition, the blurring lines between internal and external audiences means that internal communications is something that can no longer be ignored if brand reputation and PR are to thrive in consistency and harmony with business strategy.

We build close working relationships with our clients so we fully understand the challenges and pressures that in-house internal communicators face on a daily basis. We have a huge amount of respect for in-house teams and we are extremely lucky to work with some fantastic clients who describe us as ‘an extension of their team’.

We wish all the entrants the best of luck and look forward to celebrating some great talent. Entries are being accepted until the 6 December, so there’s still a few days to enter your team!
