Today's not just any rainy Monday for us here at tbbr towers - we're welcoming two new members of staff! The lovely David and Scott have joined us today for a busy day of inductions and introductions (not to mention squeezing in a team lunch at the new Bill's in Farnham - I'd recommend the halloumi). David Doyle is our new head of creative and digital and brings with him a wealth of experience from all corners of the creative industry, so we're really excited to get him stuck into our campaigns with existing and new clients. Scott Livingstone joins us as digital consultant and with his experience in various large and high-profile campaigns we can't wait to see his creativity in practice.
I've included the full media release on these two appointments below in case you're interested in more details - and do register for your free ticket to thefuturestory so you can catch David and Scott face to face.

Strategic digital appointments confirm theblueballroom’s future focus
Independent business communications consultancy, theblueballroom, has announced two key new appointments which will consolidate the agency’s digital offering. On October 6th, David Doyle joins the team as head of creative and digital and Scott Livingstone joins as digital consultant. These two appointments confirm the agency’s direction as a leader in the provision of both strategic consultancy and creative implementation for internal and external communications that fully embraces the opportunities offered by digital channels.
David Doyle has more than seven years’ experience in the creative industry, delivering innovative campaigns for clients as diverse as Ford, Samsung, Reebok, Microsoft and Unilever. With strong roots in illustration and conceptual design, he has huge imaginative skills to apply across multimedia channels. At theblueballroom, he will develop and deliver creative digital solutions as well as leading the creative team.
Scott Livingstone brings a wealth of experience in creating exciting brand campaigns that embrace digital platforms. Working at the forefront of media communications, technology innovation and digital marketing for the past decade, he has moved some of the world’s most recognisable brands firmly into the digital age. His clients have included Sony, British Gas, Nike, Jaguar, BMW, Unilever and Coca Cola.
Commenting on these two strategic appointments, Sheila Parry, managing director of theblueballroom, said: “Our daily experience of media as consumers is telling us how much the world of communications is changing. The unstoppable trends towards digital communications is permeating every layer of working life, and communicators in business are adapting at a rapid pace. We are working with some of the truly digital enthusiasts at the forefront of this change, but we also know the barriers that many clients face in stepping up to the challenge. David and Scott know what’s new and they also know what works and will bring creative and strategic weight to our consultancy offering.
“Effective, innovative and impactful communication is what we are about. There will be a time when we won’t need to have the word ‘digital’ in anyone’s job title, but these appointments demonstrate that we are able to deliver what clients need now and in the future.”
In the past year theblueballroom has successfully applied its creativity and experience to more than 75 internal and external communications projects for 16 clients in the UK, Europe and the US. The agency’s achievements have secured several awards, and theblueballroom has recently been shortlisted for a Digital Impact Award by Communicate Magazine, the winners of which will be announced in October.
