I read an interesting article on Mashable today about social media. A topic we know very well at theblueballroom! It discusses how a truly social business uses its social channels not only to communicate with customers and potential customers, but with employees and potential employees too. Social media should be part of your core recruitment and retention strategy - nowadays it's one of the primary ways in which your employer brand is communicated. And it's not just your company accounts that will be talking about what it's like to work for you, your employees will be too. So you better make sure you're doing everything you can to make yours a company they'll be saying good things about! While we're on the subject  of recruitment - we're currently looking for an outstanding Account Manager to join our team. Sound like you? Read more and apply here. Even if AM's not quite the role for you we're always looking for brilliant talent so please do get in touch with our HR Manager Clare.

To finish, my favourite take-out from the article was this: "In 10 years, social won't even be a question". Hear, hear!
