The future of internal communications. What is it going to look like? Does anyone know? Last night, I was celebrating being a part of this year's winning group of 30 under 30 rising stars in the internal communications industry. We're the ones that might not know the answers right now, but are definitely striving to shape the future of internal communication in everything we do whether it's from an agency perspective, being a supplier or working in-house. One obvious thing that shone through last night is that we are all passionate about communicating, and every day look for the best way to ensure the right messages meet our target audiences at the right time and in the best way possible. Sounds easy, but with life throwing curve balls, cultural diversity, PR and social media, we all have a challenge to keep employee engagement firmly on the business agenda and give it the time and prominence that it deserves.
