Long live locution
( New Media, New Ways and The Basics )
The evolution of language is fascinating. The massive explosion in social media not only brings new terms into common usage, it also breathes new life into old words.

Like many going through the school system of the 1970s, I was ‘encouraged’ to take typing lessons “just in case…” And thank goodness I did: however I don’t think today’s digital key-tapping world was quite the ‘just in case’ they had in mind way back then.
